Introduction to biomass raw materials

The raw materials for biomass gasifiers primarily consist of various agricultural and forestry wastes, as well as some organic garbage such as crop straw, rice husks, wood chips, and dead branches. These materials are renewable, low-cost, and environmentally friendly clean feedstocks that are well-suited to the working characteristics of gasifier hypoxic pyrolysis. With simple pretreatment, efficient gas production can be achieved.

Gasifier Conversion

During the gasification furnace conversion stage, biomass pellets are transformed into combustible gases through a thermochemical process under high-temperature and oxygen-deficient conditions. Under these conditions, biomass produces combustible gases primarily composed of carbon monoxide and hydrogen. Our gasification furnace employs advanced technology to ensure thorough contact between biomass feedstock and gasifying agents, enhancing gasification efficiency and gas quality. The resulting combustible gas features high calorific value, cleanliness, and environmental friendliness, enabling direct use for power generation, heating, or as a chemical raw material, achieving efficient energy conversion of biomass resources.

The raw combustible gas produced from the gasifier contains solid particles, tar, and other impurities, requiring multi-stage purification. Initially, the gas enters a "cyclone dust removal + spray integrated device," where most solid particles are removed through a combination of spray and centrifugal force. The use of spray hot water prevents tar from condensing and solidifying in pipelines and equipment. This step not only effectively removes some soluble pollutants but also optimizes gas composition through temperature control. Our purification system employs intelligent control technology, significantly improving control accuracy and energy efficiency, ensuring stable and reliable purification performance while creating favorable conditions for subsequent deep purification.

Final Purification

The gas enters the "spray + electrostatic precipitation" equipment, where it is further cleaned of fine particulate matter and water-soluble gas pollutants through a specially designed spray system. Subsequently, it enters the electrostatic tar removal section, where high-voltage electric fields effectively remove residual fine tar particles from the gas, achieving a purification efficiency of over 99%. This stage of purification ensures that the gas meets the usage standards. The resulting pure gas has a stable calorific value and excellent combustion characteristics, and can be directly used for internal combustion engine power generation, gas boiler heating, etc., realizing the high value-added utilization of biomass resources.

Gasifier Case One

Lec has independently developed a RTO process driven by clean biomass gas/coal-derived gas heat source, marking the first case in China where biomass or coal is used as fuel to provide heat source for RTO equipment

Gasifier Case Two

The gas undergoes purification through a multi-step process. Initially, most of the dust is removed using the GWT gravity sedimentation spray system, followed by the separation of the remaining particulate matter using a two-stage WEP wet electrostatic precipitator. The finally purified gas is then fed into the combustion system for use, enabling the utilization of low-cost clean energy.
